One of the most beautiful hotels in Italy, Le Sirenuse sits proudly on a cliff top in Positano, proudly over looking the Amalfi Coast’s breathtaking scenery.
Having wanted to stay at this hotel, one of The Leading Hotels of the World no less, for as long as I can remember, nothing could beat the drive around the winding roads from Naples to see the stunning 18th-century villa poised on one of Positano’s most stunning cliffs and centrally located to potter into the town.

Still family owned, there is an instant feeling of being welcome and that you are going to be well looked after, as soon as you walk in. A favourite with the A-list, it is really no surprise when you see the view from the hotel rooms, all of which include panoramic sea views, the picturesque dome of the town Cathedral and views across the ocean to the horizon of the Islands of the Sirens.
By day, relax by the pool, take lunch at the terrace restaurant surrounded by lemon trees and bougainvilleas or book in for a decadent spa treatment before enjoying a drink in the bar or on you private terrace before heading down the cobbled streets into Positano for an explore.
The best thing about the Le Sirenuse, however, has to be the attention to detail, courteous and helpful staff and the homely appeal of what is a world-class hotel.
